We're taking a short (TOTAL SURPRISE) trip to WDW on 12/31 (we'll be within driving distance). Heading to a 1 BR at VWL. Our DVC home is the BWV and we've only stayed in a 2br - my kids go to sleep by 8 - even at Disney! so sharing a room hasn't been an option.

I heard that one of the 1BRs has a closet big enough for a crib?

How do you sleep (sleeping arrangements) when you are sharing a 1 BR with your kids?

Nearly two years ago we stayed in 5519. It is a corner unit with a view of the quiet pool and Bay Lake. I'm not sure what the square footage is, but it is visibly larger than the usual 1 BR. Also has two balconies.

Your better off to request an area, and not a specific room. It looks like you'll be staying NYE, so you might not have much choice in room location. Not many of the villa rooms have a great view, so don't stress over it too much.

In answer to your space question, the master closet is good size, and I think you could put a pack in play in there. I've also thought that the entry way would fit a pack n- play pretty nicely, and its kind of out of the way where a little one couldn't see others to well. Best of luck, have fun on your trip.

We had room 3502, it was at the end of the "short" hallway to the right as you get off the elevator. It was a dedicated 1-bdrm. Because it was at the end of the hall, there was no one passing in front of the room. Really quiet.
We liked it alot.

Enjoy your trip

ask for a 1-bedroom dedicated on the lake side near the elevators....

but since you are going at a popular time ....
