Is the Western Cruise worth taking for repeat cruisers?

When we were on our second eastern cruise last Nov., we signed up (w/ the shipboard incentive) to take a western cruise this Dec. After reading some of the postings, it seems that there have been no on board changes made to make the experience different (example menus, programming, etc.). What do some of you returning western cruise travellers think? Should we continue to go, or do you think it was too much of the same. I know some of you do not have a problem with repetition (numerous cruises), but I am interested in hearing from some of you that may have expected something a little different. Thanks

I would like to know also if Disney changes their shows etc...

This was a first time cruise for us, so it was all new.
We did see Disney Dreams and we enjoyed it, but if its the same show next year, I will definitely skip it. I also don't watch movies more than once or reruns of TV shows.

If you are a "repeat" cruiser, than you have to pick one or the other, right? So you might as well pick the one you haven't done yet.

It is DEFINITELY worth it!!!
The Western we just returned home from was our 22nd Disney cruise (and it broke the record for the number of repeat guests).
There is one different show (Morty), depending on when you last cruised, but the main attraction is the ports of call. There are only two sea days, and Kay West, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel are great. We had never been to those destinations (except a brief stop in Cozumel once), and we enjoyed them so much on this trip that we are already planning to return. We were never bored for a minute...on the contrary, there was too much to do. I will be doing a full trip report soon, but I highly recommend the Western itinerary for returners and first-timers alike!

Did you pick up the kid's navigators? I am SO in hopes of seeing one for 9 year olds before we go.

I love your website, and have passed it on to many others who are thinking of going on the cruise. We are going on our 3rd cruise in September (the 7 day Western). I don't think we will ever caught up with you, but we can dream!!!

I honestly believe each and every cruise will be a different experience. I cruised on NCL Western Caribbean in Dec with MIL. This Nov (less than 6 months) Im cruising Disney Eastern with DH and DS10.
In the future I do hope to be on the Disney Western as NCL didnt stop at Grand Caymen.

Definitely do the western cruise. We just returned yesterday and had a great time. (Key West could be dropped, IMHO)

We've done the eastern twice and booked another western for May 2003.
