I can't imagine it would be, considering that it costs almost $9, but I was just curious!

Here it is available at the ABC Commissary, for example: Treasure Chest with Chocolate Cupcake $8.99

If I ordered lunch using a QS credit, would this be an option for the included dessert?

Items served in souvenir containers are not eligible for the dining plan and would have to be purchased OOP.

Just to quickly add to the above post, also drinks in souvenier cups or with little light up thingies, not included in dining plan beverage options.

Thanks for the response. I thought it couldn't possibly be (I knew about the souvenir drinks) but I hadn't seen a novelty dessert like that.

And, uh, I still kind of want one. :goodvibes

I'm not sure where in Walt Disney World they have them anymore, but in addition to the brown pirate chest, they also had a mini-cake dessert that came in a pink princess chest. Back in 2012 both were at Starring Rolls, but I think I only saw the Pirate Chest the last time I was there. Still, if you like princesses and/or pink, you might keep you eyes open for the princess version as well. (It does not qualify for the DDP either.)

I can't remember if the key was a cookie or chocolate, but everything in the chest was edible.
