I haven't had the tonga toast in a while (love it though) and for the life of me I can't remember whether or not it's deep fried. Should two share it, cause if it is fried isn't an awful lot?

Thank you in advance!

the recipe that someone has posted for the Tonga Toast-not sure where I got it from, I printed it out--it is pan fried not deep fat fried. It is a large portion and if you had a side (eggs, bacon, etc.)--I feel that it could easily be shared. HTH! Amanda

Fried for sure. I think the suggestion of having something "not so sweet" with it is a good idea.:earsboy:

Deep fried fat, IMO. One square of it was enough for my sweet tooth DH. One bite was enough for me. He was thankful to get to eat some off my plate because he couldn't stomach too much.

If we did it again, we'd order 1 for the table so each person could have a little bit and order regular breakfast stuff as well. It's VERY rich, sweet, and fatty.
