Is the Sun and Fun deal considered a room discount?

I keep reading folks saying the Deluxe hotels are all priced at rack rate. Well, I just went to book one and I see there is a Sun and Fun package and room only price. Is this a good deal? I don't hear or see many people talking about it.

It's a room discount whether you are doing a room only reservation or a package reservation. I think 10%-30% depending on the resort and the date.
