Is the strawberry shortcake at Hoop Dee Doo served warm?

I can't quite remember if the cake part is warm or if it is served cold. Help?

It's been a while since I was there but the cake was served cold. Never heard of serving it warm.

Nope, it's cold. But then again, the servers do a special little dance with the shortcake before they serve it so it would be pretty much impossible to think about warming it up before serving. It's a good dessert, IMHO.

It wasn't last summer. I've never heard of serving strawberry shortcake warm. It doesn't sound very appealing to me.

Umm for the detractors...warm homemade shortcakes from the oven with cold strawberries and whip cream (and ice cream for me)... is heavenly.

HDDR however serves its shortcakes cold.

I've never heard of strawberry shortcake being served warm. I'm sure when the shortcake is warm from being fresh baked it must be amazing. However, if the shortcake is warm from being heated in a microwave, don't bother. I'll just eat it as is.
