I've seen pictures & it just doesn't look that great :confused3
But everyone seems to be ordering it :confused3

So tell me your opinions please . . . . . We have reservations
there next Tuesday & I'm trying to figure out what to order :thumbsup2

It's not gourmet by any means, lol. It is fine for breakfast, nothing special.

Just easy to order and it is all you can eat. The all you can eat part is probably why people order it a lot.

We have eaten there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch and dinner were OK, but we REALLY enjoyed our breakfast there.

As far as lunch & dinner, DH probably enjoyed those meals more than me - he enjoys Bar-B-Q items more than I do. We enjoy eating there, but now only go for breakfast.

Hope this helps!:cool2:

It was nasty! That's the reason we're not going to WCC next trip.

We did not enjoy the skillet on our last vacation either. We will certainly go back because we love the resort, but next time we are going to order off the menu and avoid the skillet.

We love it. I don't like the sausages, but I like everything else.
We usually stay at VWL and this is a must have for us.

to die for!!! We'd order the skillet again in an (artery-hardening) heartbeat!!!

Got to agree- the sausage wasn't very appetizing but the pulled pork was delicious. You have to order the skillet on a empty stomach though,lol...

I was not impressed. We found the meat fatty and not very appetizing.

So what would you recommend ordering ? ?

Do they have hamburgers ? ? That is what
my kids would want :lmao:

we were going to try it for the very 1st time in June...now, i'm sort of worried...

wonder if you can ask them to leave off certain items (sausage/whatever).

They have burgers on the kids menus but none for the adults. But I guess you can order them. If you go to allearsnet.com, you can go to dining then pick your restaurant and look at the menus.

I would go if I were you. It's very entertaining. I think your kids are at a good age to enjoy it. Plus, the food is very good. When we went, we had nachos for the appetizer, steak, and the pork chops. Huge portions and it was awesome! And good dessert.....

We love the skillet! The pulled pork is yumO!

This is from our 9-person-review of WCC. (We all ordered the Skillet) I think having the meal served "family style" is what made it a great meal. :upsidedow

"The salad was very fresh & the apple vinaigrette was yum-yum-yummy! Even though they were a bit on the dry side, everyone really enjoyed both the pork ribs and the pulled pork. A good smokey flavor. A little sauce on the side would have made them finger lickin’ good. The roasted chicken was cooked just right-crisp on the outside and moist & tender inside. It was a hit with everyone. The sausage? Hmmm. It was ok-nothing to write home about. Same with the cornbread. The other sides were all very good. The corn was hot & sweet and the mashed Yukon Gold potatoes were so creamy and buttery-yum yum! The beans were good, too-sweet & tangy. The coleslaw was the best I have ever had-a ton of flavor!"

My mom and sister ordered the steak in Feb. and they loved it.
I loved their cinnamon tortilla dessert. I can't wait to go back just for that!!

We loved the skillet!! Plan on going again to WCC and ordering the skillet on our next trip. I have young adult male children who can make that skillet disappear in a hurry. Of course the CM always makes sure it is always refilled. The mashed potatoes are the best, in fact we liked everything but the sausage.
