Is the Riviera studio the only studio with a pull down real bed as it's 2nd bed?

The biggest issue we have with DVC studios is the 2nd bed. We are not fans of a pullout sleeper sofa and I noticed that WDW got SMART and when they built the Riviera they put in the pull down bed. Does any other DVC resort have the pull down bed in their Studio rooms>

VGF, Poly, and SSR all have queen Murphy beds instead of the pull out couches. BRV is currently being renovated and will have them too.

Edit: the original VGF building that has the deluxe studios are the ones with a queen Murphy bed. The resort studios in Big Pine Key have two regular queen beds.

All of the DVC studios, except probably OKW due to structural/room layout issues, will eventually have those queen Murphy beds. So will the living rooms of the DVC resorts!

Once I saw Riviera put them in and BRV putting them in on their current refurb I figured they were going to do this for the others. We stayed twice in studios and hated the sofa beds, so we have not looked at renting since.

Thanks for the info.

It's one of the reasons we still enjoy OKW so much - 2 real queen beds in the studio! Plus a slightly larger layout. Unfortunately, they got away from that room design quickly with the remaining DVC resorts.

We rented points at the Poly this year because they got the murphy beds. I slept on it all week and it was super comfortable! I have been waiting for the Epcot DVC resorts to add them so we can finally book a studio over there. :)

Will they be able to add the pull down murphy beds to the Bay Lake Tower studios? (I hope so, but not a lot of room to work with)

Structurally, I think they could add the Murphy beds to OKW and VB studios. Main question is whether the wish to (or can) deviate from the 2 queen setup.

The 1B and 2B rooms at those resorts are a bigger issue because the living room is flanked by windows. I'm not sure that there's a wall available where they could attach the Murphy bed unit--unless they decide to board up one of the windows.

The twin / full size Murphy beds in studios are no bigger than the sofa, so I'm assuming it will fit. Barely.

That is awesome. I think they are so much more comfortable and easy to fold up out-of-the-way when you don’t need them.

FWIW the Studios at SSR have Double-size murphy beds. Poly and Riviera definitely have Queen murphy beds. I cant vouch for what VGF or BRV have now. For some, those extra inches matter!

I don’t think there was a an issue at OKW in studios for the Murphy bed sofa. The 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms have windows behind the sofa. I’m not sure if the 2 queens have to stay at OKW due to what is written in the contract. Seems DVC can do whatever they want anyways.

VB studios don’t have Two Queens, it’s the Inn Rooms that have the two Queens. At least that’s our experience.

I wonder if they could use the sofa-chair location to put the murphy in OKW - and leave the couch arrangement by the window, as there's wall on two sides there - I just can't recall if either section of wall is wide enough to fit the Murphy there. Seems like a possibility - and might even allow that plus a sofa bed to better accommodate the 5th guest better than the convertible chair.
