Is the resort fee taxed?

Can anyone tell me if the $10 resort fee is added after the 11.5% tax? Thanks.

The only resort that has the fee is the Swan Dolphin. The official WDW resorts don't add on the fee. It probably is added on before the tax. They also charge a self parking fee at the Swan/ Dolphin. Keep that in mind, I had booked the Swan for our Feb trip but after getting the YC at $199 AP rate it was only a few dollars more than what I was going ot pay at the Swan. I also dislike the fact that Swan/Dolphin does not allow charges back to your room except in the two hotels. We put everything back on our room card so we can see itemized charges.
