Is the Rainforest on the wish worth the price on the 3 night Wish cruise?

Anyone who has done a 3 night wish cruise, and got the rainforest room pass for the length of the cruise did you find that it was worth it, and have enough time to use it? We won’t be getting off the ship in Nassau, and won’t need a whole day in castaway but we also want to be able to explore the ship, and do some activities.

Also can someone confirm the price for the 3 night pass? Is $170 plus gratuity correct per person?

We love the rainforest on the fantasy and use it every single day but it’s also a lot better value for what you pay.

Sounds like you are Talking about the Wish? That's an important distinction because their RR is larger and more expensive.

I had friends on a 3 night sailing towards the beginning who got the RR pass and said they regretted it as they didn't have enough time to go and get good use out of the pass. It's going to depend on what other plans you have on the ship. We are planning to pass on the RR the first time we sail on the Wish since there will be plenty of other things to do. Maybe down the road or a 1 day pass to check it out but I figure I've already spent enough for the existing ship. 😁

"Staying on board" in Nassau is a very common thing for people. We have started getting off in Nassau and staying on the ship at Castaway because we have been plenty of times.

I updated the title can’t believe I forgot that. We prefer 7 night cruises, so I don’t know when/if we’ll do the wish again so I want to experience the RF room I’d be fine with a one day pass, but I worry they’ll sell out and not have the one day pass offered I’ve heard they don’t only do the one day pass. We’d skip getting off at castaway as we have a 7 night in October on the fantasy but I worry we’ll miss castaway in October if we get bad weather, or I guess it could even happen on the wish. I know either way I want to do a one day pass, but just worry it will fill up and we won’t get to get a one day pass.

Personally, We have done the RR pass on a 5 night and a 7 night and found both to be valuable. Anything shorter though and I wouldn't PERSONALLY consider it. (That and they got enough of my money with booking the cruise, but that is a different topic)

That is my opinion, everyone has their own. On the two 3 night cruises I did on the Dream, I felt like I barely had any time in-between unpacking and repacking at the end of the cruise. I try to avoid the 3 nights because it already feels like there isn't enough time on the ship for all of the regular offerings. The big thing I keep hearing with the wish is that there aren't enough hot tubs so if that's a priority for your cruise, it may be worth it to purchase the RR pass.

Your cruise however is your experience and you get to embrace that how you choose. Considering that its a new ship that I haven't experienced, I do not plan to get the length of cruise pass when we sail on the Wish in Nov.

No matter what you decide, enjoy!

Thank you for your view on it. I may just end up seeing if they have a day pass available on the Nassau day.

I'll say this... we had a B2B on the Wish and booked the Rainforest Room for length of cruise both times. My wife used it a fair amount (worth it) on both cruises. I didn't use it all the first 3-night because I was just so busy exploring the ship and all the other activities. The second cruise I used it once for maybe an hour. So for me personally, it was probably a waste of money. But by my own choice. I just feel like the 3-night doesn't give you enough time to really experience all the ship if you're going to spend some serious relaxation time at Rainforest... especially if you do the port days.

I would assume they would fill up on length-of-cruise passes and not do the day pass, but maybe it'll change!

I’ve heard some 3 nights they do day passes, some they don’t I know it just depends how many they sell. We are doing the 9/9 sailing so schools will be back in session but again it’s a nice ship, and only 3 nights so I don’t that that will matter I’m sure they’ll be a lot of people regardless.

Has anyone tried the Frigidarium. I am cruising concierge for the first time so I don’t know if I would need to spend the extra money for the Rainforest butI have cruise credit to use so I thought I may try it. It looks so intriguing. I’ve used the spas on prior cruises but don’t know if the expense is necessary but I love a great hot tub and those heated loungers!!!!

For 3 nights on other ships, we typically have booked the single day pass and used it on Nassau day. I hope that becomes an option for the Wish, but probably not until the "newness" factor wears off.

I would still pay the full length of cruise price though. It is still less than the cost of high-end massage and I find it just as relaxing or more so, because I use it for several hours.

I called concierge this morning and they told me I would need to book on board and at this time it appears they are only offering full length of trip packages but I’m sure on the arrival Disney will never refuse accepting payments for a one day pass, we’ll see.

I think the problem is they only have so many spots and nassau day is the logical day for everyone to use a one day pass (arrival day is too short; castaway cay people prefer to go ashore. Length of cruise probably helps spread the crowds out because people are more likely to do a couple hours a day instead of spending all day in nassau for the cost of a one day

I would love to go to Rainforest room on my Wish cruise in 2 weeks. But I would only want to go for one day. There is so much to do and see in 3 days, it will be a tough decision if available.

I hope everyone cruising in the next few months have a safe and fantastic sailings.🚢😎👍🏻💫✨

We sailed this past weekend 3 nights and on day 1 they were only selling length of cruise passes but sold day passes on day 2 and 3

Thanks for reporting back! Did you end up using the RR at all? If so, what did you think?
We did do the 3 day pass honestly for what my husband and I enjoy we prefer the rainforest room on the dream and fantasy 95 % better for our taste others might disagree but that is personal opinion. We missed having the views of the ocean from the heated loungers, sauna, and hot tubs. And the rain showers that are on the wish are just that rain shows that you turn off and on, no special theming you choose the tempature. We LOVE the showers in the other rainforrest rooms that have themes, set durations and temperatures. We are still glad we did it , it’s a beautiful area and the adults area is very and laid out poorly small on the wish compared to the other ships so it gave us a nice space to relax but my biggest issue is with other guest talking in the rainforest room; and outdoor area to me it’s a spa and suppose to be a relaxation area if you are going to talk there at least keep it at a library voice level it was very obnoxious.

We just got off the Wish 4 night and I had the RR length of cruise pass. The Frigidarium was my favorite part of the RR lol! It was just so unique and different, and it was super hot out, so I loved the cool, quiet little slice of heaven. It really wasn't that cold. Just cool enough so if you were coming from a sauna or a hot tub, nice enough to cool you off.
There are two hot tubs in the outside section of the RR, one is hot and the other warm, so a nice option if you don't like hot tub water too hot.

I agree with another poster who said that some people did not respect the quiet nature of the RR on the Wish. There were lots of couples and groups who chatted like it was social hour. Lots of places on the ship to do that~ the RR is one of the very few places that you can find a quiet place to get away from it all. (JMO :poop:)
