I have been looking at booking DLRP (as you may know) and come across a price. It isn't direct with Disney but is an online travel agent.

It is Hotel Santa Fe + Breakfast, 2 nights and 3 days, 30th July - 1st August, flights and VEA transfers for 5 adults (2 rooms) for £1,900. This (I think) is quite cheap and considering the same was nearly £2500 from Disney it is good. Almost too good to be true

have you looked into booking your travel yourself. the price i got for the santa fe hotel was 1027 for two rooms for your dates. a return private shuttle would cost 140 return. could you get flights for under 750 pound?

I agree with Mommy2ash that you should look into booking for yourself, We did and we got:

7 nights 8 days in the Cheyenne with Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children (one of which is over 7 so we pay for him) on the 14th - 21st July = £1238

Flights with easyjet from Glasgow to CDG for 2 adults and 2 children with 1 hold luggage and 4 hand luggage return = £291

and then transfers which will be £140

so as you can see we are getting a lot longer for much less

Hope this helps :thumbsup2

I have just looked at booking everything separately and it seems I can get tickets and hotel from Disney, flights by easy jet and private car transfers (cheaper than VEA) for 3 nights and 4 days (1 extra day and night) for only £1880!

This is a better deal but the flights to Paris are only in the afternoon so arriving at CDG 16:49PM meaning a full day of time in the parks :confused3...

Do you only have one airport choice? I changed to luton from east mids as easyjet fly to paris from luton 3 times a day and bmibaby sometimes only have one flight to paris from east mids.
Even factoring in the petrol for another hour of driving to luton and back and the cost of a travelodge the night before we fly, the easyjet flights work out cheaper than flying from my local airport nowadays - and the easyjet morning flight from luton to paris means we get almost a whole day in the parks on our first day there :thumbsup2.

Or, if your flight is afternoon, could you fly out the day before your onsite holiday begins, and just book room only at one of the associated or Val d'Europe hotels for that night? Transfer to your onsite hotel early next morning, and you'll get your park tickets etc and could be heading in for EMH that morning, thus getting the full benefit of your park tickets for the 4 days.

Only thing with another airport is that we do not drive and so have taxi fares - so Newcastle or Durham Tees are our only options. Also, no flights the day before unless it is over £200 pp and booking another hotel for 1 night will increase the price more than the original price with all included??

ah well then, as you technically have one extra day and night for your money with your Disney hotel booking anyway, you could call that first day your travel day couldn't you, so you're not actually losing a day in the park if you see what I mean :rotfl: (as you were originally looking at spending 3 days in the park).

Actually, scrap that - if your flight arrives at CDG at about 5pm, you could be at your hotel to pick up your park tickets by around 6.30pm, and the main park is open until 11pm at that time of year isn't it? Get yourself off to the park and enjoy the fireworks/fantillusion and rides in the dark!

That's what we did on our last trip ~ we were at our hotel by 9pm so after quickly unpacking we headed to the park, had something to eat at Fuente del Oro, rode Big Thunder Mountain with minimal wait :thumbsup2 then watched the Enchanted fireworks. :wizard:

I quite like that idea, but after talking to the others - we are going to look for longer and see if we can get near a week for only a couple of hundred extra :goodvibes

Well I couldn't afford for any longer but I have now BOOKED and am going for 3 nights/4 days:banana::banana::banana::banana:!!
