Is the pool at FW scheduled for a rehab?

I am sorry if this has been covered or is in an obvious place that I have missed (I did try a search and came up empty handed).

I have a friend in the Clearwater area that is planning a trip to FW in May (lucky girl) and I told her that I thought I had read somewhere online that the pool was to be closed for a major rehab sometime this year. So she asked when she made her resie and the CM had no clue about it. Now I wonder if I am making stuff up again


Does anyone here know if there is a rehab scheduled?

I believe you may have the renovation of Wilderness Lodge pools confused with Fort Wilderness. While most on the board here are begging for a pool upgrade, there are rumors but nothing is out yet.

Silver Springs Pool & Hot Tub - closed from 1/29 - Late March
Kiddie Pool - closed from 2/12 - Late March

There is a thread on the camping boards titled something like Ft. Wilderness Expansion (long). Look through the last couple of pages. A poster attended an RV show recently that had a booth for Ft. Wilderness. According to the postetr the cast members manning the booth said that there are discussions going on about upgrading/renovating Ft. Wilderness and that it might include a pool rehab. Check the thread out...there are lots of comments and wishful thinking.
