Is the Plaza much better than the MK quick serve places?

We've never tried the Plaza and the menu looks good - cheesesteak, Ruben, burger. But it looks pricy. I think a burger and fries at a quick serve is only about $10 compared to closer to $17 at the Plaza. So is the food that much better at the Plaza? Should we try it?

We love the Plaza and consider it a hidden gem of MK. The points that make it worth a few more dollars? It's adorable, it's not crowded and it's cool inside, a nice break from the heat and bustle of the park. We've always had great service and wonderful food at the Plaza. My kids would say the best part is the milk & warm cookies dessert option:). We thinks it's a lovely place to relax and recharge while not spending a lot of money.

We always schedule one TS a day; we use the 90 minutes or so as a break from touring. We enjoy the Plaza a lot, and it is one of the cheaper TS locations - so for us, it is a good fit. But if what motivates you most is food quality, I don't know that you would find your $20 burger meal at the Plaza (once you add in tip) twice as good as your $10 CS meal. Better, certainly; twice as good, probably not. However, if you want to sit down without jockeying for a table, have someone wait on you rather than order and carry your own food, be in a less hectic space, and spend a little more time over your meal to relax, then I'd say the upcost is money well spent.::yes::

I didn't read the link above until after my post - funny, how much similarity there is between mine and Josh's opinions! Seeing the menu reminded me - I always get the broccoli slaw. It's a very nice break from the french fries served with so many theme park meals! And it's good, too. :lmao:

It was a good rest during our rope drop to wishes MK day last year. If you can swing it budget-wise over CS I say go for it. The food isn't anything special it's more about a nice little break (in my opinion of course).

Thanks everyone! We like the break and usually do 1 sit down a day as well. I'm just struggling to decide if I want one of those sit down places to be for burgers - but that cheesesteak is calling me name.....

And since I can no longer get the taco salad at Peco's Bills (and no hot cheese :sad2:), I guess a good sandwich is better than the other options!
