Is the Pepper Market on DDP?

First time staying at Corando, and we were wondering if the Pepper Market Food Court was on the DDP. DH said it looks like you check off entrees on paper and pay separately, so we're not sure. Thanks!

I called Dining and asked. Currently, there is a breakfast buffet and a lunch buffet that you can use QS credits for. The Maya Grill is a TS option.

All of the restaurants at CSR are on the DDP for 2011 and 2012. Pepper Market is a CS location with a buffet for breakfast and lunch and a la carte for dinner. The buffet is currently in the trial phase until January 4, 2012. Maya Grill is a TS location and currently serves dinner only. Cafe Rix is the grab n go. There is also a lakeside bar and a pool bar that serve some food.

As PPs have said, there is a TRIAL buffet going on right now for breakfast and lunch.

But dinner is as your husband suggests. You will get a slip of paper that looks somewhat like a bingo card. You take that to your desired station and order and they will stamp your paper. When you finish, you take your "bingo cards" to the register and pay. DDP allows you one entree, one drink, and one dessert. Be sure to ask at the dessert counter what counts on the DDP as sometimes not everything is included.

From reports, it's not really a buffet in the traditional sense of the word, as you still get the food from the stations. But at breakfast and lunch it is now all you can eat for a QS credit, as long as the trial lasts, or until they make the change permanent.

For "big" eaters, I suppose it's a great deal. People who would eat multiple meals in one sitting.
But what it really shows -- is that QS v. TS has nothing to do with food quantity. There are many $10-$15 QS meals that are bigger portions than $30 TS meals.
The difference in price comes down to food quality, location, setting, and extras.
I suspect if you took the characters out of Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, etc -- you'd end up with a buffet worth QS pricing.

Also keep in mind that even though it's a QS credit, there are servers who get your drinks and clear your plates. You're expected to tip 10 percent.

The 10% service charge is not charged at the buffet breakfast or lunch, only at dinner (which is still a la carte). There are servers who get your drinks and clear your plates, as you said, so they should be compensated accordingly for service provided during breakfast and lunch. The percentage is up to the diner's discretion.
