Is the PeopleMover open?

I would like to see them expand the track; may up to and around fantasy land

That's be nice, but I'd be happy to see them replace what's there. It's really old now and is looking worse for wear. If you've had the pleasure of being evac'ed and look down you know what I mean. (The backstage stairwell in the buzz lightyear section is extra special looking.)

So a friend of someone who I know who works at WDW, said it is need of a overhaul, and they are working on it, ride driven, not on the chopping block...

I was wondering if they might be going to loop into tron somehow, like they did space mountain? which would really be cool, longer ride, and you could check out Tron...

I think that the people mover is a good solid ride, and it helps with crowds, gives people somewhere to go, and it is a longer ride... It gives you a break, yet if you have little ones, they consider it a ride... so a win win... all around.

Soooo....it sounds like it will be shut down for at least months then? Argh..
does not help my upcoming trip...it's our favorite.

Given current cash flow (or lack thereof) conditions, it may just be a patch job to get it back running. However, they will likely be thorough enough to at least fix whatever caused the collisions before reopening it.

I'm happy with a safe patch job if it gets it running quickly...ish. lol

It wouldn't surprise me but I'd probably not put much stock in rumors heard from simply talking to a couple of CMs. At least verify with a bus driver first.

I have a bad feeling that the PeopleMover is going on the chopping block. I don't want it to.

I hope not. I don’t just like it for relaxing. It truly is a top 3 most fun ride at the park for me for so many reasons. I can’t handle losing splash and people mover.

I've enjoyed it immensely when they started building the Tron coaster. I loved going on it and getting my Tron update

We were there Saturday 7/25 and it was not running.

I was disappointed that POFQ wasn't open but I can live with POP.
I'm upset with no park hopping but I'll manage.
I really hate that there are no shows or fireworks, but I understand.

But if there is no People Mover in September I'M OUT!

I love going on at night , especially at Christmas time. You make the turn and see all the lights.

Plus it's a ride that one doesn't need to reset back and knees to get in and out.
