Is the "Pal Mickey" worth getting & How much?

I keep seeing things about Pal mickey and he sounds like a good idea. Just want to make sure it's worth the money!!

Went down in July 2005 and got a pal mickey. The Pal Mickey tells you interesting facts about the park and you can play games with him. I personaly love mine and don't regret getting one. When you're on a ride it keeps quite so its not a pain! LOL I paid about 60 for mine.

Just had to have pal mickey last time we went and we had a hard time hearing him. Maybe we missed a volume button somewhere. It is okay, not sure it is worth it, but I will be dragging him with us this time, and he has sat on our mantle in our bedroom since our last trip 2 years ago! Maybe it will be exciting to charge him up again when we arrive!

Pal Mickey is great but I wouldn't pay $60 for him. I ordered ours from Character Premier outlet store and paid $22.94 with shipping. It is the old style Mickey but he works great. I bought him back in August and I'm not sure if they still have any left. Their number is 954-846-7161

I'm wondering the same thing....we have a 2 and 4 year old and I wonder how they'd feel about him...and/or if they'd fight over him. Seems like a neat idea.

I haven't tried a pal mickey yet but I am purchasing one on ebay for our daughter. From what I've seen you can get one for a fraction of the price you'd normally pay. Some auctions have great deals so if you think the kids will fight over it you can just buy 2

We gor the Pal Mickey from the outlet before our trip in the fall. My ds2 did not care much for pal mickey while at the park. (He tells you things about the rides, when shows are about to start, etc. ) He does however, like to play with him now that we are at home. ( he tells jokes) I have to say it did become a bit of a pain always having to carry him everywhere. HTH!

Well. I've had two. The first one I got was then they first came out and I loved it. Then I heard about the new one coming out for the 50th and knew I had to have it. I can't remember what I did with my old one. But I loved them both. I like the new one better though. The new one has more thing to do then the old one. Hauling him around was a pain until I got smart. I collect pins so i'm always wearing a lanyard when we're there. Well more lanyards have a clip on the bottom of them and the Pal Mickey has a little...handle on the back of his head. So I just took off what was on the bottom of my lanyard and hooked him onto it. So now when we go he's around my neck the whole time. I've taken him on every trip we've had snice I got him and plan on taking him on the next one.
