Is the NBA City Restaurant good?

Has anyone been there recently? Menu looks good and I know my DH and DS would love the theme. Is the food good? What's the atmosphere like?

The atmosphere is very fun, especially if you are basketball fans. There are TV screens with basketball clips playing everywhere. The dining area is set up like you are in a basketball court. The cover of the menu feels like a basketball. The items on the kids menu are named after teams...Bulls Burger, Denver Nuggets, etc... We have eaten there twice and thought the food and service were excellent.

Another yes vote for NBA City here. It's actually our favorite of the CityWalk restaurants (not counting Emeril's which is in a completely different league!) The atmosphere is a lot of fun and we're not even really the biggest basketball fans. The food is very good as is the service and the prices are within reason. Go, you'll enjoy it.

The atmosphere is great though what I ordered was not the greatest. It is definitely worth a trip.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. It's probably my fave CW restaurant now...

The food is very good. If you have an AP, you get free credits for the games each day. A couple of weeks ago, we stayed at the Royal Pacific, and would stop by each day for the kids to get their free cards. We watched the Duke/ Uconn game upstairs, great time.

I completely forgot about this the last time we were there! Ugh..I hate when I do that! Do you remember how many free credits they get on the cards?

very good food, good service and great atmosphere (even though I'm not a sports fan).

The choclate cake was fantastic. I think it is either 5 or 7 layers. I do not really care about food in most of these places so I order a salad. My philosophy is the entree is really only the appitizer for dessert.

Love the huge brownie sundae at Hard Rock too.

I was so surprised to find the whole experience very nice. The food, the service, and the atmosphere. It was above the typical themed cafe.

We have Ap's - what does this mean? Sorry for the dumb question, but I don't understand what free credits are? Do they get to play the games for free?

Thanks!

I thought it was very good - excellent atmosphere and good food combined for a very good rating

It was the solo part of my trip and the staff made me feel welcome and not weird for dining alone :sunny:

thanks

Besides Mythos and Jakes at the RPR- we like this one the best, and wished we'd eaten there more on our trip!! It was really good.

My parents rave about this place and really love the atmosphere!! When we are down there in June, they specifically said we needed to go to this restaurant!! :) I am looking forward to it now after reading all these rave reviews! :)
