For us it was-
BUT
We did lots of character meet and greets, a character meal (chef mickey), and stopped at many every photographer we saw. We also did Enchanted Tales with Belle, and the rides that took pictures.
So----we got over 175 pictures in 3 days. And then when I went and added boarders and decorations to some of them that put us at about 200.
For the character meet and greets we got 4-5 pictures per character. They started taking pictures as soon as my son started interacting with the character. Some of my favorite photos from the trip are the candids that the photographers took with my son and the characters.
For the photographers around the parks- We stopped at each one we saw. we were willing to stop and wait our turn so we got lots of photos. Some are better then others, some photographers we had better chemistry with and had more fun with. So, we did jazz hands, silly pictures, magic shots as well as the posed smiling pictures.
We kind of made it a scavenger hunt to find the photogprahers and got excited when we found one.
My favorite picture of the whole trip is the last picture we took. We took it at Epcot at night and the photographer had my son stand up on the bench, and put his hands up and shout yeah! At the time I thought, oh that's cute. But when I downloaded it, I realized that it looks like my son is holding up Spaceship earth. It is so cute!
So, it really depends on you and your family and what your priorities are (meet and greets, being willing to stop and take the time to take pictures, etc). I borught my labtop on the trip and every night when we were at the hotel I would download the pictures we got that day and keep track of how many pictures we were at. Our goal was 150 pictures, so that it would be a dollar a picture.
For us it was worth it, but for others it may not be. Only you can decide that for sure.
