I thought it would be. Isn't today the change over day from the Canadian cruise to the would be 8 day Bahamian? I don't see her on the NYC port webcam.

It should be there this morning.... We are taking the 8 night NYC cruise next year so I was going to be following this one carefully to see what to expect prior to the itinerary change.

Looks like shes docked at 5:48 am but the webcam isn't pointed in that direction :(

We also are off the Magic this morning. We docked around 5:30 am. Of our 18 DCL cruises, I think this was the smoothest sailing we have ever encountered. I hope the folks who will be re-routed to Canada this week will have just as beautiful of a cruise as we did.

The webcam finally updated their view and now it is of the Magic. Ah. I feel better now.

That's funny because I was thinking that the North Atlantic is much rougher than the Caribbean. :teeth:

Not right now!!

Actually my sister posted a pic from her breakfast on the Dream and in that part of the Caribbean (wherever the Dream is right now) it is clear and calm.

Yeah I guess the Caribbean is probably fine, Its the Bahamas that aren't so nice.

LOL I also thought it was pretty calm but we've sailed in the North Sea with DCL too so I guess it's relative :) That doesn't mean the ship wasn't moving for sure though and we had lots of creaking noises in the cabin but nothing too major. It wasn't smooth as glass, but not bad either.

Wish we were back on now....sigh :)

Heather

Ps. To add, they announced the night before when we would sail under the Verrazano Bridge and go past the Statue of Liberty so people knew it'd be early :)
