Is the Kennedy Space Center fun?!

hi all , i wanted to say this scotsman is looking oh so much to the visiting kennedy ...

we didnt get around to it our first/last trip back in 2000 and i kicked myself for not going....my wife wasnt into it and our daughter was only 5 at the time...

this trip me and the 'wean' are off to kennedy for the day 11th of july...while the wife shops....weve booked the lunch with astronaut and plan to enjoy everything about the day ...and whats got me is that my daughter is excited about it as me......were even hoping the shuttle launch for the 1st july is put back till we arrive.....lol

so beam me up scotty and make it so no 1....(youd never guess I was a trekie fan)

Did this two years ago with dh, dd10 & dn12. I had no interest in space but wanted to do something "educational" as we took the girls out of school.

LOVED IT! The girls loved it! DH loved it! We are not space buffs at all but it was truly a fasinating day with so many different things going on.

I highly recommend the lunch with the astronaut. It made our day. Would love to go back sometime.

Also, have to add.... if you're into gift shops. This is one of the coolest around!

I've no doubt you'll enjoy it.

There is also a surf shop which I think is open 24 hours that we always stop at when we are in the Cocoa Beach area. Called Ron Jons. You might find that a fun place to snoop around as well, when you're finished at KSC.
