Is the Germany Pavilion at Epcot going away?

I don't know anything about this guy's credibility, but from Twitter:

@EpcotCentre
If you care about Germany Pavilion at all you'd better get down here & enjoy it while you can because nothing lasts forever, folks.

I would highly doubt it's for several reasons, the biggest reason being that the restaurant in Germany is extremely popular and moves an awful lot of people through during the meal time. If that restaurant were to close it would put off a lot of strain on the other restaurants in Epcot. The only possibility I would see is if it is closing for a period of time for remodeling and upgrading.

I would miss the Werthers shop. Like the Caramel shortbread bar among other things.

I'd put little stock into that rumor, but it brings up a question in my mind. I know that once upon a time, following the "world's fair" model, Disney used to get material support from each "host" nation for their pavilion in World Showcase as a form of national marketing and tourism promotion. I know that some of the countries no longer participate. Per rumors, Norway's lack of current day support is one of the reasons that the pavilion is being morphed into "Arendelle." Does anyone know which countries, if any, still provide support to their Epcot pavilion?

I can confirm this is fake. The twitter account like I mentioned often posts sarcastic things about Epcot.

"Tue nicht glauben alles sie lesen" "Epcot wird nicht schlieben die Deutsch teil der welten"

I would miss the Werthers shop as well talk about a sugar rush!!!

15 days 2 hours and 56 Minutes till we are back..................................................................

That twitter is like 99% sarcasm. It tweeted that due to all the current promotions surrounding things going away instead of new stuff.

The story of "Norway" is a little more complex...they never actually "supported" the pavilion like the other countries did...

But I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Internet killed Epcot - including the sponsorship

I'm all for killing the internet and taking Epcot back. We can mobilize our attack on line. Look up what Patton would do, quick. pirate:

The board of the Walt Disney company has determined that brains are better off wasted...

...therefore they can't tolerate a place with such limited content dealing with made up nonsense.

As far as I know the only pavilion that had substantial support, and still does is Morocco.

Why would they take it out? That is so highly unlikely.
I can seriously imagine there would be someone willing to get rid of Germany (and even Japan) as punishment for WWII and for what Hitler the Nazis did. I know the plane in the Indy stunt show used to have the swastika on the stabilizer like the movie.

Stop.
Rumor is starting here.
Not Twitter.
Twitter account is awesome good fun.
