Is the Germany Pavilion at Epcot going away?

I wouldn't put much into this. The account tends to post sarcastic things.

I would highly doubt it's for several reasons, the biggest reason being that the restaurant in Germany is extremely popular and moves an awful lot of people through during the meal time. If that restaurant were to close it would put off a lot of strain on the other restaurants in Epcot. The only possibility I would see is if it is closing for a period of time for remodeling and upgrading.

I'd put little stock into that rumor, but it brings up a question in my mind. I know that once upon a time, following the "world's fair" model, Disney used to get material support from each "host" nation for their pavilion in World Showcase as a form of national marketing and tourism promotion. I know that some of the countries no longer participate. Per rumors, Norway's lack of current day support is one of the reasons that the pavilion is being morphed into "Arendelle." Does anyone know which countries, if any, still provide support to their Epcot pavilion?

The story of "Norway" is a little more complex...they never actually "supported" the pavilion like the other countries did...

As far as I know the only pavilion that had substantial support, and still does is Morocco.

I can seriously imagine there would be someone willing to get rid of Germany (and even Japan) as punishment for WWII and for what Hitler the Nazis did. I know the plane in the Indy stunt show used to have the swastika on the stabilizer like the movie.
