Hey, everyone. I am a big Star Wars fan. This will be my first time going to the Star Wars Weekends. It just so happens that when the new movie opens, the first weekend will kick it off. Can you tell me what to expect. Is the whole park devoted to Star Wars? I'd really like to know.

Thanks in advance
Kevin (Mace Windu
) :earsboy:

We were there last year. There were actors from the Star Wars movies signing autographs and Who Wants to Be A Millionaire Play It was all Star Wars questions. :wizard:

We will be there, too, on Friday and Saturday of the first SWW. If you get there at park opening, you will see Imperial stormtroopers over the entrance gates talking about the strange species that they are lokking down upon. All around the Star Tours areas will be Star Wars characters posing for pictures and signing autographs (be sure to get Darth Vader's). Mickey will be dressed up as Jedi Mickey with jedi master robes. Two different real Star Wars celebrities will be on hand for pics and autographs. There will be lightsaber training for the kids, trivia contests for the kids and the adults, specially designed SWW collectables, a celebrity parade, and two special editions of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" with Star Wars questions. Check out the Star Wars Weekends page at www.allearsnet.com and at www.mgmstudios.org for pictures and schedules. We will be wearing lime green ribbons and hope to see you there. Only five weeks to Episode III at AMC Pleasure Island's midnight show. :disrocks:

The only thing I would add is that several people were dressed up in jedi robes, etc and some were in regular clothes wearing their light sabers on a belt. 2 years ago if you wanted the celebs autographs (there were 3 there)you got wristbands early in the day and then when the celebs got there you got in line by number. When we were there it was the guy that played 3CPO, Billy Dee Williams, and an actress that played a bounty hunter in Episode 1. I can't think of her name, but my daughter loved her character, so I did stand in line for her autograph. She was very nice, took time and was thrilled to have a female fan.

Aura Sing that was the character's name!! The only one I would have stood in line for!
