Is the Filet Gone From These Restaurants too?

OK, does anyone know which OTHER restaurants have the filet removed besides Kona?

I have ressies for this coming week at places specifically for the filet. I have not yet cancelled Kona, because I can have the shrimp and scallops there. Does anyone know about the below restaurants?

Chefs de France: Filet de boeuf grille
Teppan Edo: Filet Mignon
Le Cellier: Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon

I doubt it's gone from every restaurant, but I'm not sure. Just beacause one restaurant took it off it's menu, doesn't mean that Disney has no filets what-so-ever.

The Captain's Grille doesn't have it on their menu any longer

Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon is still on the menu as of July 31. I had it for dinner that night and it was very good!

First off, have a great trip

I am no help as I have only eaten at Boma but was wondering if you could report back after your trip and let the rest of us know what you find out. I have been looking on the boards for the answer to that question for a little while now and can't find out anything.

I have ressies at Chefs de France and was hoping for the Filet. ( can find something else if not, just was hoping for it )

I just called. For the places I booked and at least one person wanted the fillet steak:

Kona= Gone
Captain's Grille= Gone
Citricos= Gone

Jiko= Still there
Yachtsman= Still there

Tepan Edo= Gone, but now sirloin.

Rumor has it (and there has been truth to some of it so far), aof 8/9 (Saturday) the filet was being removed from several Disney restaurants, but not the Signature places.

Interesting about Citricos, because that is a signature and it's now listed as gone from there too.

The next few weeks will be interesting as those that are there right now are going to come back with first hand reports of what's what.

If I recall correctly, last year there were some changes during free dining. Lots of the higher end items were taken off the menus and then put back on afterwards. You may be right that this is what is happening again.

we were down there last year for the beginning of free dining (but we were not using free dining) and the only change I remember was that Tony's was using the dinner menu all day and we were MIFFED that the lunch menu was gone (man I wanted a panini!!). I know I ate filets last trip though...

lol Yes, I think they are being cheap! Too bad they don't have cheap prices to go along with it!!

I totally disagree. The dining at many WDW restaurants, especially the signature restaurants have changed so much for the worse over the past few years. We never get the plan - maybe if we did we would feel otherwise. the food at most WDW restaurants is just good - not great anymore.

I will be heartbroken if they remove the Mushroom Filet from LeCellier
