Is the Eurostar usually

punctual? I know you can never tell but trying to work out if they usually run well on schedule when there's no unexpected weather problems etc?

We'll be coming home on the Sunday night due into London at 21:19 and am trying to work out if we'll manage the last train

Been on the Eurostar four times and have never known it to be late - there isn't much else that can hold it up on the line and it can make up time quickly if it is running a few minutes late.

Thanks I intend to book open returns as we only have a 30 minute window between the eurostar arriving and the train departing from Euston. It's going to be a close call but if we're late we have somewhere to stay, would rather just get home though If we could manage it.

It's been late twice when I've been on it. The first time was when someone became very ill and they stopped at Lille so she could be taken to hospital (very efficient, they had cars waiting for her and her family there) and they did make up a lot of this time. The second was when it got held up by snow - on the UK side!

I think on the whole it's very reliable. If it does get held up by adverse weather conditions you may still be able to catch that last train home because that may get delayed too - that's what happened with us.
