We are pallning on going on the Disney cruise in June. Can anybody give me a heads up on it. Im taking my 20 month old, my 9 year old, my 18 year old and my 17 year old. Im not so worried baoutthe two older ones but what about the little ones would they still have fun. Should I worry about sea sickness since neither ones have been on a boat before? Is June to hot to go? Let me here from all you WDW experts.

Thanks,

Jennifer:cutie:

Hi Jennifer :) Of coarse DCL is fun! I'd have to say June is a little hot for my taste, but it is a blast! I started taking my ds when he was 18 mo. old and he loves it! There is something for everyone. I just prefer when it's cooler, and cheaper:rolleyes1

I think you will all have fun. I have a friend who thinks cruises are just like a hotel to get to where you have to go (never been on DCL obviously). I'd be happy just floating around on the DCL without going anywhere. CC is just an added bonus.

Almost everything is geared towards families and there's so many options. DS6 loved the pool and pretty much spent most of his time underwater in the Mickey and Goofy pool. You have movies, clubs, bingo, shows, crafts, etc.

We went on our first Disney cruise this past January and our now 11-month old daughter had a blast! Her favorite things were meeting the characters, looking at all the water, playing in the sand at CC, and crawling in open spaces much bigger than what she can find at home. I think your 9-year-old would probably find the children's programs amazing fun. When we were at MCO awaiting our return flight home, we ran into a family from Rhode Island who had also been on our cruise. The mother said her 10-year-old son at first wanted nothing to do with the kids' program, but once he went he never wanted to leave. Both he and his father (according to the mother) cried when they had to leave the ship.

So yes, I think there will be fun things for your younger children to do and see. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
