I have reservations for the dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace, but I've never been. Is it worth it?

Our reservation is at 9pm, and we will have eaten dinner at The Garden Grill at 4:50pm. I think that's enough time to recover.

Any information on this is welcome and appreciated!

I think it's worth doing once as long as your expectations are correct. You won't have an unobstructed view unless you stand at the railing, and the desserts are good but not amazing. Tink does fly right overhead though.

I think it's worth doing, maybe even once per trip. The desserts are pretty good and the view is awesome. It's very nice to have a good spot and a chair to wait for the fireworks. Even more if you have small kids or elders in your group.

I've done this twice and sat in two different areas, one right along the rail and the other a few tables back. It was a great view both times and the desserts were plentiful. My family enjoyed it very much and would no doubt do it again next time we go. :thumbsup2

I think it is worth it for the reserved seating. But the desserts, meh. They were not impressive. I tried a little of everything and nothing wowed me. You can probably make better tasting brownies yourself.

Thanks for info.. sounds great.

You have an awesome view of the fireworks & it is wonderful to sit & relax without having to stake out a spot for hours.

I thought the desserts were pretty good. I loved the dipped strawberries.

You can't see the parade from thos location. You could see the tops of the taller floats in the electric parade but not really a good view for that.

We are going again this December. We are going to the MVMCP & watching the fireworks at the dessert party & then catching the 2nd parade.

Just getting to see the fireworks without the mob makes it worth it to me.

Add me to the list of SOOOO WORTH IT!!! This is a must do for our family every year. This year we have decided to skip the Xmas party for the first time in years, but will still be doing the dessert party (on a none party night). I think the view is great, the desserts are very good. However I have to admit, I usually try to eat my ticket cost in Chocolate Covered Strawberries. You will find something there for everyone in your family.

Have a great trip.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll try to eat my cost in the strawberries too. That sounds like a plan!

The day we went to the dessert party we had a late lunch around 2 pm then skipped dinner because we knew we wouldn't want anything if we ate dinner.

I think the party was well worth the $25 per person JUST to be able to watch the castle show and fireworks without thousands of ppl around.

I wasn't too impressed with most of the desserts but the Creme Brulee was very good. DH is very picky so he just had a few servings of ice cream I think.

We aren't going back to it this coming trip but when we take the kids back with us next time we will definitely go to it again.

Just make sure about 10 minutes before time for the castle show you go up to the rail and get a spot because once that show starts everyone goes to the rail and there is just barely enough room along the rail to fit everybody.

If the fireworks are at 10 and they gave you a reservation for 9 I would get there about 8:45.

On our night the fireworks started at 10 but they actually gave us an appt for 9:20. But I had been told by several ppl to NOT wait until 9:20 to go because sometimes once certain desserts run out they do not refill them.

I am not sure if that is true because we only went up to the buffet twice and there was plenty of stuff both times we went.

There is a thread on here some place that has a listing and pictures of most of the desserts.
