We will be having the housekeeping service daily during our next stay ( I know a waste of money you say. It is at my grandmother insistance and her dime. Who am I not to give her what she wants);)
Anyway, we will be getting coffe daily as well. Is it decaf? If not I may need to bring my own. Would I need to filters? I am assuming that the coffee the resort gives are the filter/ coffee in one pack, but I could be wrong.
Any coffee experts out there?

You may want to bring a package of the Maxwell House Decaf filter packs, just in case. Usually you get a packet of regular and a packet of decaf...on our last trip we got two mini-packs of regular (had to use both for 1 pot of coffee). If you get the filter packs and remove them from the box then put them into a plastic bag, they scrunch down to fit into luggage pretty easily. They're pricier than coffe and separate filters, but more convenient for travel.

We always bring our own coffee and filters with us.
We like to mix Reg/Def and just put the coffee in a zip lock bag.
I like my plan old Maxwell House. It's not easy to get a can of coffee into the suit case.

Would any one of the coffee/filter combos work with the BCV coffee maker?

Yes, If you just bring filters, they have to be the Mr. Coffee type.
