Is the Candlelight Processional Dining Package going to include IllumiNations viewing this year?

The other day I was perusing the WDW site, mulling over which restaurant I will book for the CP dining package, and I noticed on San Angel Inn's page, when scrolling through the gallery pictures, one of them has the following caption:
"Did you know that you can secure 'front row' seats to 2 awe-inspiring shows? With a Candlelight Dinner Package, enjoy great seating at the Candlelight Processional and a VIP view of the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks spectacular."

I thought, huh? Maybe they just need to update their captions.

Then I stumbled across this http://www.themouseforless.com/walt-disney-world/planning/events/candlelight-processional/ today and it says:
"The Candlelight Processional Dining Package also comes with reserved viewing for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth."

Could it be true?

I saw that too and was wondering what they meant by reserved viewing. Glad to know I'm not the only one trying to decide on CP restaurants in mid-April!

I would be so happy if this was true. I am trying to fit Illuminations in my planning. This would make it so much better. Also, can you pick what time you want to go to the Illuminations or must you be at the early one?

I know it used to be part of the package, but then it was removed. Wondering if it's back now.
And hey...I've only got 2 months until "go time" for making ADRs! I have to start early so that I've talked myself out of every restaurant available, then reconsidered half of them, then finally settled on "the one" before panicking at the last minute and choosing something completely different only to later cancel that ADR and go with the one I had originally wanted. LOL!

There is only one IllumiNations per night.

The "2 awe-inspiring shows" is counting the Candlelight Processional as one show, and IllumiNations as the other show.

Yup.
IllumiNations viewing has not be included with the CP Package for at least two years, now.

With the current IllumiNations Dessert Party and IllumiNations FP+, the area(s) they used to reserve
for the CP Pkg. IllumiNations viewing is now already in use.

But, hey... ANYTHING is possible with Disney.
Stay tuned.

I agree there is only one Illuminations! But I'm prejudiced, Holiday Illuminations is my most favorite show (not having seen ROL yet ;) )

Dining packages are offered for multiple restaurants, and multiple times referring to the Candlelight Processional shows. In the past the Candlelight Processional Dining packages had reserved viewing spots for Illuminations. We won't know for sure about this year until the details are announced. Illuminations will be shown at 9:30pm

I'm leaning toward a breakfast CP at Yacht Club ... I thought it included an appetizer but I'm not so sure about shrimp tacos for breakfast.

If you do breakfast, I don't think you get the appetizer.

Thanks, sharonabe, that would make sense considering the price! (any my stomach)

We got the candelight package in 2009, and that came with the Illuminations viewing. The area was in Showcase plaza. It was so crowded there, and so many spots at horribly obstructed views, that it was the worst view of Illuminations we ever had.

Do you mean the dessert party, or is there something else that I'm missing?

ok I mistyped. i mean that I could pick what CL show I go too? Like if I want a later one do I need to eat later?

Sort of. For the past two years, you had to refresh or something in order to get the programmed CL show to change to a different one if doing it online. I think calling in to make the reservation was easier to choose the CL show, but they may have fixed this online by now too. But be sure your ADR time gives you enough time to eat and make it back to the package line to get in. You still want to be in that line no later than 30 min before the scheduled show and maybe a little earlier, depending on party size and your desired seats.
