Is the Annabella hotel gone?

Yep. I was supposed to stay there for my trip last December, but in May I got a call from the Walt Disney Travel Company informing me that the hotel was closing in August and they offered me a free upgrade to the Hilton.

Total travesty, IMO. It was a wonderful motel.

The owners did buy Anaheim Inn on Harbor, right next to Pizza Press. While that motel was a bit meh before, I hope the anabella staff has brought it up to something better.

I was at PP last month and noticed that it had been demolished.

Yes it’s gone. They are built a Westin in its place.

It seems like they are replacing almost all hotels with luxury ones.
