Is the 22nd always the last date for MVMCP?

I know there's no way to know the dates for 2017, but I'm wondering if there is a normal "cut off" for the MVMCP dates? This year the 22nd is the last date, and it is my understanding that starting the 23rd, the Christmas parade and fireworks become part of the "normal" MK schedule.

Is this always the case? In other words, is the 22nd always the last date for MVMCP, and the 23rd always the start of those Christmas events being part of the normal daily schedule? Or does it fluctuate?

TIA!

usually it's over mid month, this one is going pretty late. The last week or two before xmas most of what the party has is the normal day parade so there isn't much reason to pay for the party except to maybe get a slightly smaller crowd..

Last year the last Party was on December 18th and the Christmas Parade and stage shows went into daily scheduling the next day.

Waiting until the 23rd this year for the daily special Christmas events is really late unless they are planning to run them until January 6th, 7th, or 8th?

I'm guessing by that schedule they won't start running the Christmas parade and fireworks during the day until the 23rd this year. They're not running the party when people can get it during the day for "free".

Additionally, some people pay for the party to meet the exclusive characters.

Yeah, I'm looking in the future to 2017, and thinking about dates. We only care about the party because we want to see Holiday Wishes and the Christmas parade. I'll pay for MVMCP tickets to get to experience those things if I must, but I'd love it if we could schedule our dates so those things are already part of the normal MK schedule.

I wonder if they're running the parties later to make more money? It makes sense. If guests cannot experience those special Christmas things without a party ticket right up until a couple of days before Christmas, it kind of forces them to purchase the tickets. Those who get to experience them without the tickets have heavier crowds and more expensive resort rates over the holiday.

Hmmmm...thanks guys.

The dates for next year won't come out until march/april. If your booking at the end of decemeber for 2017, you'll get the parade and fireworks even if there is no party. as mentioned above, the parties stop and then everyone gets the parade. (not sure on the fireworks) until after xmas.

We arrived on the 19th last yr., a Sat., and as PP mentioned I thought the last date was the 18th, a Fri. So I thought that may be the trend, a week before to stop them. I am really surprised that they are having one on the 22nd this yr. We were on MK on the 20th, and loved getting to see the parade since we are normally there around Tday, and don't pay extra to go to MVMCP.

The dates I'm looking at are the 17-21 or 18-22. If the party dates stay close to what they are this year, that will mean I'll have to buy MVMCP tickets to see Holiday Wishes and the Christmas Parade. Even the 19-23 would require tickets as we would be checking out and going home on the 23rd.
Literally, the only way you can see the Christmas fireworks and parade in MK during December this year without a MVMCP ticket is to be there sometime between the 23-31, which is when it costs a small fortune to stay in the resorts.
I hope the dates change for next year, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm wondering if this later run of MVMCP is the new norm.

usually around Dec. 17. I was bummed it is so much later this year as my family will not be able to see the parade or fireworks without a party ticket now.
