Is that a lake behind All Star Music?

Hi. I was looking on touringplans at room views for All Star Music, and it looks like there is water in the back of resort, by the Country Fair buildings. Is there a lake or am I seeing things lol?

There are some ponds at the back of the All-Star Resorts. They’re not really very big or anything.

I think they are drainage ponds, and not safe. YOu know WDW is still a lot of swamp around it. Snakes and alligators and such. They seem to be closest to All Star Sports, the team bldg in the parking lot, not a hotel room bldg.

Edit: Looking at Google Earth, It looks like there is one quite close to Music Country Fair bldg like OP said. And the one by Sports looks closer to rooms than I remembered. YUCH!

There are lots of little ponds all around the WDW property. They are part of the drainage and storm water control system. Occasionally you'll see wild life around or in them.

One time while at All Star Sports I was surprised to see a small lake/pond! I had no idea it was there.

Lol thanks. We’ve been spoiled the last few years in staying at deluxes with beautiful views, so I got excited to see water at the resort

That should pretty much sum up all you need to know about the lake at the All Stars. If it was worth looking at, it wouldn't be under $150 a night there, LOL
