We are using the dining plan when we go to the world in August. The last time we used the regular dining plan I think we had to pay tax as well as the tip. Does anyone know if tax is included now?
Thanks!

I don't believe I have ever paid tax on the DDP. Pretty sure that is already figured in when you pay for the plan. If it is free dining, there simply isn't tax to pay. You do probably remember that tip was a hefty sum because of the cost that the food would've been.

Thanks Minnie. I can never remember what is included. And yes, we are doing free dining! :goodvibes so I'm quite excited. We just booked and I was surprised to get some of our favorites. I figured everything would be completely gone. Maybe we just got sprinkled with pixie dust? :wizard:

The dining plan costs quoted include all taxes, and you do not have to pay taxes on plan-covered items that you order.

You will, of course, have to pay taxes on any non-covered items (alcoholic beverages, appetizers [unless on DxDP], etc.).
