I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes.
While Tangled may not pack the emotional wallop that Pixar's "final chapter" in the Toy Story saga possessed (I still get chills thinking about those toys heading towards that incinerator), Pixar's last flick dragged a tad and felt a little too much like a retread of their previous work.
Tangled, however, somehow manages to pay homage to the Disney films before it, but never feels like it's something we've seen before.
I've got to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the film and actually grew more impressed upon a second viewing (which I had to view for work).
If you're in doubt, give Tangled a shot because I really don't think you'll be disapointed.
My full review can be found at my blog via my signature below (shameless plug, I know).
I know Toy Story 3 was beloved by many, but I can't be alone in this...did anyone like Tangled just a tiny bit better that Toy Story 3?
