Is T-Rex Restaurant Scary

I feel like I am constantly asking if things are scary! MY DD who will be 4 when we go is terrified of scary things, dark things, dogs (we don't know why) and big costumed characters (pooh sent her into hysterics). Loud does not bother her. So is T-Rex Rest. dark and scary? We went to a rainforest cafe once and she was a little nervous but made it though. Although we weren't too near anything. I have a DS who will be 6 who I think would like it but it is not worth it if it would scare the others. I also have a dd2 and we don't know yet what she will do!

I wouldn't open it with your young ones around because the audio is of a dinosaur roaring. Can you split up and someone take your son to T-rex and you take the girls somewhere else? It doesn't look like the best place for a 2 year old.

We were there in Dec with my DD5, DS2, Neice5, and Neice2. It was very, very, loud and the dinosaurs did make the roars through out our time there. Some of the areas in the restaurant are darker than others. It is an interesting place but if you child scares easily, I am not so sure this is the place to go. My son hates anything loud so he was not to thrilled and when the wooly mammoth beside us would roar he would hide. The dinosaurs are very large. Right in the entrance of the restaurant there is a very large T-Rex that my Neice2 was scared of. I guess if you did not have reservations and just went there and checked it out before hand, that would be your best bet. We did not have reservations when we went but it was so late as it was for us eating dinner that we just went in and ate as quick as we could.
