We (my DH, 2DD's 3, 5 and I) have been to DLR resort several times.

We are going again in early June. We have two days for the DLR. (We're staying at PP so we have EE).

I planned on going Sunday, June 3 and Monday June 4. I wanted to be home (N. CA) by Tues pm.

We would be at DL very early on Sunday, do as much as we can, hop to DCA at midday, and stay there through the evening for ELP.

We would spend all of Monday in DL (of course getting there early for EE).

I am getting worried about crowds and am now rethinking and going Monday and Tuesday. My kids would miss a day of swim lessons at home if I do this. We would also miss ELP, since it only runs on the weekends.

Will Sunday, June 3 be MUCH more crowded than Tuesday, June 5?

Are smaller crowds worth missing ELP and my kids' swim lessons? :confused3

To me, no its not worth missing. But l I happen to think the Electical Parade is the best of all Disney parades at either DL or WDW. So that makes my advice biased! But I really think you will make out fine on your two orginal days. You have EE on Monday, you have been to DLR before so you know how to use fastpass, to get there early etc., and I think it would be a shame to miss the ELP. Tuesday would be less crowded than Sunday for sure, and yet school groups abound at DL that time of year so its not guarantee that Tuesday will be so much slower its worth missing the parade. I would check out Hydroguy's tips on maximizing a crowded day at DL just to brush up and stick with your original plan.
