Is Stitch really that bad?

After avoiding it because of all the bad reviews, DH and I finally tried it out last month- YES, it is terrible. It's not scary for adults but I can definitely see kids being scared- I wouldn't take mine on it.

You're locked into an uncomfortable seat, it seems like forever, there's like smoke or something in the room, it stinks. I told DH never again!
I might see if my husband and/or I have time to preview it before the kids. We started watching it on YouTube, but got bored (because we hadn't seen the movie).

The original attraction had its fans- I liked it somewhat and then they inserted Stitch into an attraction that had nothing to do with Stitch. Alien Encounter scared a lot of kids but putting Stitch into it is not a good fit.

I rode Stitch for the first time with my niece on our last trip. I never rode the original ride...

My niece didn't know much about Stitch, neither did I(outside of remembering the previews when the movie came out), but we thought it was ok. I guess I would ride it again on the next trip, but it's not something I would say is a "must do."

Kids would probably like it at least once.

We personally like the Stitch ride. Going in you know there will be darkness and rotten egg smell. Then before you know its over and your in line for Monsters Inc laugh floor

It's just boring. You can't really call it a ride. I kept waiting for us to be moving, or something exciting to happen, and then it was done. No need to visit this attraction again.

My kids enjoyed it last time we were there, they were 5, 6, & 9. It was one of the attractions they quoted for a very long time after we were back home. "Cinderella, your prince is here!"

Minority here. Family has to do it every trip. Boys think it's actually funny. Once we learned the hands on the shoulders trick, it's fine. Seats don't move, so I don't get what someone said about being jerked around.

Yeah, maybe it's lame, but just one of those things you have to do!

Maybe DH and I are lame, but we LOVE going on the Stitch ride every chance we get! Just two adults, no kids, but we really love Stitch and it's a very neat experience.

"Is stitch really that bad?"

I inwardly giggle every time we walk past Stitch and see a big crowd. I figure they are 1st timers that have no idea. Some time I should sit and watch as people come out and see their reactions.

I did it once not knowing anything about it. I walked in and saw the circle seating and restraints and immediately asked if it spun and was told no but I questioned,to myself, if it doesn't move why do I need a restraint so when it came down I held it up about three inches off my shoulders, I'm glad I did

Didn't enjoy being in pitch black, with loud noise and air being sprayed at me

I will never do this "attraction" ever again. Can't even call it an attraction cause there is nothing attractive about it. Burn it down to the ground and start again Disney!

It's pretty bad, but it does have one saving grace: the AAs are excellent. I've only done it once, but I'd love to see those animatronics again.

Thanks for the heads up! My daughter has asthma and is sensitive to things like that.
I love the stitch ride (i wish he had a better ride, but i'll take what i can get) personally it doesn't bug my asthma, but the tiki room does for some reason... i've witnessed a LOT of screaming and crying children on the stitch ride. it's scary stitch, not there love bug he is at the end of the movie.

On another note, i love the character dining! I brought a stuffed stitch plush and stitch tried to steal it! I also have a lilo and stitch tattoo, lilo and stitch both noticed it. lilo blew it a kiss, and stitch jumped up and down clapping when he saw it! :) highlight of my trip!

I hope you enjoy the experience, id advise taking a test run of the ride, one adult without the kids so you can judge the scary factor!

Terrible...

I miss Alien Encounter . I know it was in the wrong park and should of been at Hollywood Studios but my god it was amazing

It's not scary, but we don't like it at all. It's just so odd. I wish they would do something else with it.

It terrified my Stitch loving daughter when she was 4 and did it for the first time.

Imagine listening to a lecture about paint drying, while tied to your chair and seated next to someone with indescribably bad breath.
