Is Splash Mountain open today?

Splash Mountains was scheduled to reopen today. Does anyone know if it did indeed open, or is at wdw and can give a report on the refurbishment?

It officially re-opens tomorrows. The only real noticeable difference was the Briar Patch being touched up and the water seems to squirt more powerfully now, too.

I read on another website that the ride opened today in the early afternoon.

Yes, the ride was open today (sunday). I didn't ride it though - didn't feel like getting wet on the semi-cool day!
