We waited for over an hour last summer BUT Fastpass was being upgraded and therefore down and that was our only EPCOT day that trip. We got in line at 9:10 and still waited that long! It is a wonderful ride but I don't know that I will ever wait that long again.

Soarin is one of my favorites but I would not wait for more than 1 hour, never mind 2 for anything - I am always mystified by people who do - I always think of what I could be doing with that time......

Exactly why I made a thread for this. I wanted to know if I was crazy to think its crazy to wait for 2 hours.

I don't wait longer than 20 minutes posted wait time (because usually, at least the times of year that I go, you can knock 5 mins off that).

I'd never wait an hour let alone two for anything.

I answered, "no," but not because Soarin' is a bad ride. It's quite the opposite, really. Rather, I gave the answer I did because I wouldn't wait 2 hours for any ride at any theme park in existence!

Soarin is my favorite ride in all WDW, but I wouldnt wait an hour never mind two. If you really don't want to miss it, make sure you are at Epcot early enough to either get a fastpass or ride.

I voted no. I love the ride but ehhh.. you can get a lot done in 2 hours!! :)

Nooooooo! Personally, I thought Soarin' was only an ok ride anyway. Certainly nothing to wait in that huge standby line for.
Even if I love a ride, I don't wait over 30 minutes in any line. Fastpass has spoiled me forever!

Definitely NO. But I wouldn't mind waiting in a 2 hour line to ride It's a Small World. Just Kidding.

I don't care what ride it is, it's not worth standing in line for 2hrs.

FP the darn thing, get there at a reasonable time in the morning(should be able to get one for right before or after lunch) then go do some other rides.

Trust me I rode it twice Friday before MLK day(smart FP planning) and that should cover my Soarin fixation until Thanksgiving.

I concur with most others; NO ride is worth 2 hours!!! That is what they invented fastpass for; hit that first when you enter epcot.:thumbsup2

I think Soarin' is a wonderful, innovative ride but I agree that NO ride is worth a 2 hour wait. When I was in Epcot over the holidays this year, the Soarin' line was more than 3 hours long. That means that people were actually waiting in it! I would love to meet one of those people. I just don't get it.

no -- get a fastpass.

ETA or ride during Illuminations. My DH rode Soarin' 3x in a row one night during the fireworks. No lines.

I won't even get in a line that has a wait time of longer than about 45 minutes...I just come back when it's easier to ride or I have fast passes.

I don't think I've ever waited more than an hour for any ride at WDW.

I love Soarin and I ride it as many times a possible during any of my trips, but I certainly would not wait 2 hours for Soarin or any attraction for that matter. That is what they make fast passes for or if they are all gone on the day you are in Epcot, change your plans and go to another park and come back to Epcot another day.
There are so many things to see and do, I would not want to waste my time standing in a line for an attraction that only lasts a few minutes. Ever since fast pass was first introduced I think the longest I have ever waited in line was 45 minutes and that was because the wait time posted was less so I got in line.

great ride, not for 2 hrs.

My time limit is no more than an hour for anything. Unless DD 6 gives me that sad little puppy dog look, flasing those baby blues. " Daddy it's only 2 hrs to see Ariel, can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE"... I am such a pushover
