I thought it was scary, I was in the lowest row, and I'm not afraid of heights. The thing that got to me was when the seat pitched forward... I felt like I was going to slide out of my seat to the concrete floor dozens of feet below. You only get a lap belt - I didn't trust it to hold me, and I thought it was possible I could slip under. Obviously, I know it's safe or they wouldn't let thousands of people ride it each day etc., etc., but unfortunately I wasn't able to convince myself of that during the ride. If they put some kind of net over the floor, any kind of "cushion," it would have been much better, but no, just hard, solid floor below.
