Is Resort ID o.k. for counter service

I have a quick question that I can't seem to find an answer to in the guidebooks. Can we use our resort ID (Poly) to charge food in the parks? Even at counter service and snack wagons? What about DD? Thanks.

You can use your resort key at all counter service, sitdowns and some food carts. We found this year that a lot more carts now accept them. A few still do not so yoou will want a little cash. I "think" that most places in DD take the them. I know that McDonalds there does not unless they have changed in the last few years.

Thanks, Jordan's mom, for the info. We're relieved that we can use the ID in more places than we could in the past, since we really would rather have most things on one bill and not have to carry a lot of cash. My husband loves the turkey leg wagon - you wouldn't happen to know if you can charge there, would you?
