Is Remy Still At Les Chefs de France?

Last I knew they rolled him through on a cart or something at certain times during the day. Does this still happen?

yes, he is still there. Monday-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm

That's great to hear. I'm hoping he is there in Aug when we try for 12 noon ressies! He doesn't give autographs from what i've seen on Youtube. He's pretty real sized to a mouse. There is a waiter that pushes his cart around. I believe they also ask that you dont get up to take pics with him, here is a vid of him if you would like to see;

Correct, Remy is about 7" tall. He comes around on a cart, pushed by his handler, who is acting as a interpreter for Remy's squeaks. He makes one circuit of the restaurant each time and does not double back to get tables that were missed or were not seated when he went by. So if it’s time for him to come around, and you leave your table to go to the bathroom or something, and he goes by, he won’t come back until his next scheduled rounds.

They do not want people to get up and go to him. He’ll come to your table, unless you're seated somewhere that the cart cannot get to. If you think that's the case, then just let your server know that you'd really like to meet Remy and they'll do their best to accomodate you.

He’s very cute, but the interaction time for each table is fairly short (probably less than a minute) because he makes the entire circuit of the restaurant in about 45 minutes.

* If people gathered around the cart, it would clog the aisles. Also,
guests might be pressing their shorts and clothes against other guest's
tabletop and food (eewe, yuck, gross). Also, he is a temperamental little
critter, and occasionally does not appear at all, and with NO PRIOR NOTICE,
so use caution when promising him to little ones to avoid disappointment

It's just a little thing, but when we saw him, it made us smile! We hope he comes by again when we have lunch in March.

I could swear that we walked past a french restaurant (thought it was Les Chefs) and there was a GINORMOUS Remi walking around from table to table. I'm positive I saw that!!! Am I just remembering wrong? I know I'm not! I know I saw a ginormous Remi at one of the restaurants.

We saw him back in August 2009. It was funny to watch the tables that had no idea what was coming!

HAHAHA! Seriously, though...I *KNOW* there was a ginormous Remi walking around. Did nobody else see this? I don't know which restaurant it was (I assumed Les Chefs), but it was the one that's all glass enclosed and looks like gold and glass everywhere.
