Is Radisson Worldgate (seen many BAD posts for this one) same as Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration advertised by Dreams Unlimited on this site? That one looks nice for $79 a night. There's just the 2 of us (21st anniversary) and we decided to go at last minute for 4 days next week. Considering the money, is Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration OK? anyone ever stayed there? We will have our own car so shuttle is not important. We figured the money we save on hotel, we can pay the 10 bucks for parking and still come out way ahead. What do you think? Any ideas?

Radisson Worldgate and Radisson Resort Orlando Celebration are NOT the same. We stayed at the Celebration resort in October and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and spacious, the resort's pool area was wonderful, and the staff was polite and professional. The resort is very, very close to WDW property- we left the parking lot at the resort and pulled into the MK parking lot (TTC) less than 15 minutes later. I would stay there again, and I would recommend it to others.

yep must agree, we had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Celebration last year, fully recommend it

We just got back from a stay there last night. The resort is VERY close to Disney - we loved that. The restaurant is overpriced and the food was average - the breakfast buffet was very good. Kids eat free - for $5.95 - we could not figure that one out...... They do add on an $11.00 "resort fee" - so the $79/night comes out to more like $100.night with taxes and fees.

The maid we had was great, but the one day she was not there it was pretty bad - they did not vacuum the floor or clean the bathroom counter. There were never enough wash cloths. We had connecting rooms and the one room smelled bad - it would come and go. We should have asked to move but did not because of needing the connecting rooms. The rooms were a bit musty. I would definately ask to switch rooms if you end up in one that smells.

It's sooo good to see the positive reviews for Radisson resort Orlando-Celebration as my DH and I will be staying there in December .

We stayed at Radisson Celebration last year. Had a great, comfortable, nice size room. pools were really nice. Very pretty property. No need to eat at the expensive restaurant, as there are many restaurants around. Very close to Disney. People were all nice there. they do add a resort fee (I think $11. a night) so be sure to factor that into your nightly rate. I would stay here again!:woohoo:
