I realize that it is among the most crowded times at WDW, but I am wondering how it stack up with DVC. This is our first year as DVC members, and we are going to try it. My goal is to stay at all of the DVC resorts as we are contemplating a couple of add-ons. We stayed at OKW and BCV in June and have ressies at VWL for December. How difficult will it be to get into BWV at 7 months? I thought that MAYBE with the high point cost it MIGHT NOT be a popular time. Can you fill me in with your experiences??

What do you mean by Spring Break? If you mean the week before or the week after Easter, that is a relatively popular time and BWV will book to capacity soon after the 7 month window opens. You'll find it easier to get a reservation if you just mean sometime in the month of March or April (excluding the Easter weeks).

Either way, if you call as soon as your 7 month window opens, you should be able to get a PV - Pool/Garden unit at the BWV. You may have to waitlist for one or more of the days - especially if you are trying for one of the Easter weeks). It's possible (but not very probable) that a standard view or guaranteed Boardwalk room will be available at 7 months.

Best wishes -

I don't think either Easter or Palm week is that popular with DVC members - it is so expensive.

now the DVC resorts are definitely full - but generally not from DVC members.

at 60 days before - CRO (disney) has the right to rent any unused villa to the general public.

I have not heard of any DVC member being on a wait list for that time period.

They definitely could be - but I haven't heard it. Try it!

It is very, very expensive - remember both Palm Sunday will be April 1 and it is the most expensive time to go to WDW - plus the crowds will be horrible.....

I would wait until your child's spring break doesn't follow on palm or easter week....to try this time.

Thanksgiving is very popular with both non-member and dvc members. It is almost value season for the point requirement for DVC members....

the weather is great, some of the christmas decorations are up, some of the christmas shows are being showned....
Now the problem it is getting to be more and more popular each year. However it is not quite as popular as Palm, Easter, Christmas to NY - by any means...
