Is POR pool slide longer now?

When we were there in October, it looked as if they planned on a whole new slide... one that came out in the side of the pool that faces the main building, instead of the the more shallow side.

One of the CM's on the boat said that they were going to get a new slide at PO-R. Can't wait to hear all about it!

thanks eeyore0062! We are actually making our decision between POR and CSR based on the pools. Last year we were excited that the CBR pool had a slide but the kids never used it because it was too short. If we're not going to use the slide we would rather stay at ASMo! As the CSR slide looks fabulous we're just waiting to see what POR has done with there's before we book. We prefer the theme of CSR and the food court of POR. We also have a feeling that CSR may be left out of any discounts as all standard views are already sold out for our dates.

We stayed at CBR and CSR. A large part of our resort selection is pools ~ we all love to swim! I liked the quiet pools are CBR better than CSR, but I liked the main pool at the Dig Site better at CSR than CBR. CBR main pool was too busy and I did not like the lay out. CSR pool was great, we liked the slide. We requested a room close to the Dig site, actually I don't think we could have gotten any closer to the Dig site, about 1 minute walk, just steps to the pool. I have to admit I thought the pyramid was going to be larger than it was, but it was still very awesome! We are likely staying at POR next trip too. Again, pools are a main feature. I like that we get two main pools being able to use the FQ pool. The quiet pools at POR look very nice too. S
