We've stayed there twice, both times in the same 80's building (just a coincidence). It was very quiet there, even though the resort was full on our second trip.
We loved walking along "Memory Lane", even though it did make us feel a bit older than we would have liked! I remember WAY too much of what's on display there!
We used the feature pool, which wasn't crowded in December, but the other pools looked nice, too. We enjoyed walking along the path beside the lake, and watching people playing the "Twister" game which was not far from our room.
The food court was great, and we enjoyed shopping in the gift shop. They actually have mood rings! I bought one of each style for my DGD because she kept trying to take the one that I bought for myself the first time I stayed there.
We noticed that whatever resort WE'RE staying at is the one with the longest wait--and we've stayed at a lot of resorts! The only time we ever had a problem was coming back from the MK at park closing. We just sat on a bench in the bus area and waited until the crowd was gone, and then went back.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
