Hi: Is pop a good resort for an adult only party of 3. Also is there a pool that might be a little quieter than the feature pool.

Deb.

There are 2 quiet pools. We hung out at the quiet pool at night and there were usually some kids swimming but it was less busy than the hippy dippy pool.

It's a fun resort.

I was there last spring with my FI. It was his first trip to WDW and he was worried that the hotel would be too kiddie.

We LOVED it. He liked the arcade, I liked the food court. We both enjoyed the peaceful lake.

of the three pools I think the computer one 80/90's was the least busy and very quiet.

i think for the price POP is the best b/c you have your own bus system, newer rooms, newer food court. That being said be prepared to see a ton of families, as with all places in disney.

We stayed there last July and had a great time. We stayed on the 4th floor of the 60's building looking over the pool.
There is not as much to do at the resort like some of the Deluxe resorts but if your planning to spend most of you time at the parks or other places it should work just fine.

YES!!! Make sure to spend some time in the lobby, examining the shadow boxes and walking down Memory Lane. It'll bring back TONS of great memories, and will make you "Remember when..."

POP is fine for adults, possibly far better for adults than children.

I say this because of the bus transportation, which is the longest wait time. That's hard for a family with children, but adults (ok, most adults) can deal with wait times just fine. Try hauling tired children over a long bus ride at the end of the day...oh boy....

We stayed at Pop last Sept and I didn't notice any long wait times for a bus. Maybe it depends on when you go. :confused3

As to whether adults like the resort, I say YES! My Fiance and I both loved it. That was his first trip to WDW and he was so impressed. In fact, we are staying there again for our honeymoon! I asked him if he would rather try a different resort this time, but he said he doesn't want to stay anywhere else.

We've stayed there twice, both times in the same 80's building (just a coincidence). It was very quiet there, even though the resort was full on our second trip.

We loved walking along "Memory Lane", even though it did make us feel a bit older than we would have liked! I remember WAY too much of what's on display there!

We used the feature pool, which wasn't crowded in December, but the other pools looked nice, too. We enjoyed walking along the path beside the lake, and watching people playing the "Twister" game which was not far from our room.

The food court was great, and we enjoyed shopping in the gift shop. They actually have mood rings! I bought one of each style for my DGD because she kept trying to take the one that I bought for myself the first time I stayed there.

We noticed that whatever resort WE'RE staying at is the one with the longest wait--and we've stayed at a lot of resorts! The only time we ever had a problem was coming back from the MK at park closing. We just sat on a bench in the bus area and waited until the crowd was gone, and then went back.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Hi: I have been looking at a map of pop, is it possible to request one of the rooms that face the hourglass lake in say 50's, 70's or 80's building?

Deb.

You can request, but it's never guranteed. We stayed at Pop last April, were able to make a request at check-in and were given a bottom level corner room in the 80's, right near the lake and the computer pool. Good luck!
