Is Pool Hopping allowed?

We are staying at the AKL in march, and I have allways wondered about pool hopping if you stay on property.

Say you go to MK and want to go to the Poly for a quick dip and break, are you allowed if you are a resort guest at another hotel?

I have heard DVC members can do this, but I was wondering about other Disney guests?

Other than DVC members (who aren't allowed to hop to AKL or SAB, or during certain busier times) those staying at "sister resorts" such as the three All Stars or POR/POFQ may share the pools of the sister resort.

You might want to think about just going back to your resort in the afternoon, it's very peaceful there, and you wo'nt have to lug around wet bathing suits and such.

Enjoy the AKL, it's magnificient!

You will find signage at each resorts pool area telling you that the pool is for those that are staying at that particular resort...so, no, no pool hopping. But, if it's any consolation...AKL pool is one of two pools that DVC can not pool hop to.

As Anne confirmed, this is indeed correct! I absolutely LOVED this perk while staying at POR *(old Dixie Landings), and would take DD on the sassagoula express down to POFQ to ride the "Dragon" slide, and play in the pool!
Both pools are fun, and both have lots of different features. But, the POFQ pool is truly something special, especially to young kids (and those of us kids, young at heart!).

YAY Thank you so much! I am so happy now. But...maybe we should just stay at POFQ anyway?? Crud, my head hurts LOL
