We're planning another massive Disney trip late May and so far have agreed on 2 nights contemporary 14th concerige and one night AKL. We're also considering a couple nights at the Poly conceirge. I love the polynesian resort, it's one of my two favs, but I've been reading some bad reviews about their concierge service.

Has anyone experienced it recently?
Any thoughts/tips?

If it's not Poly we're also considering BWi (the other fav).

We had a great time in December. They were wonderful and they even have what could pass for an espresso/cappucino machine when it's working.

The staff was wonderful and this time both the service and hosting folks were on top of their game.

I recommend that you pick nights when you are certain they will have fireworks and get the lagoon view.

Also, 1 night in advance, order their chocolate covered strawberries along with your favorite drink. My wife was in heaven when they showed up exactly on time right before fireworks. She loved them so much I ordered some again to surprise her again for Valentine's Day and all she could talk about is how much she enjoyed them at Disney (while proceeding to devour the fresh ones.)

At any rate, it can be a mixed bag. You're biggest problem will be all the resort hopping and logistics with packing and luggage transfer.

I would recommend 3 nights at CR and 3 nights at Poly, just so you really have the time to unwind. You're spending the money anyway, do it right and give yourself enough time to really take in each resort. Otherwise you won't have the chance to really settle in and feel "at home" and you will lose a lot of time with the moves.

Have fun...

Poly concierge is awesome. Some of the people that have been there a lot have been noticing changes. We were there once, last january, and will do it again as soon as we have an opportunity. No regrets at all. It was perfect.

We just came back from the Poly concierge. We were there from Thursday until Monday. I really enjoyed it. I liked the lounge and the view of the castle.

The concierge staff was GREAT. We had easy access to milk for our toddler and the snacks saved me from bringing lots from home or stopping at Publix on the way in.

The Mousekeeping staff was superb. Everyday we got extra towels, toiletries & and whatever we asked for. They always left towel buddies for my two daughters.

When my DD got sick at 1 am, the housekeeping staff quickly brought new linens.

It was a very nice time.

On Friday, we used the breakfast offerings as light breakfast, then we would have PS for a late breakfast at CRT (11:00.) and then the Luau show in the evening.... (didn't see the lounge that night--went back to MK for spectro & wishes)

On Saturday we did the same thing w/ a PS at Rainforest Cafe at 1PM
and on Sunday we had light breakfast in the lounge and 1 PM PS at LeCellier.

For dinner we would eat the hot offerings. It did save us some $ on food.

I did like the concierge lounge a lot better than concierge at Beach Club. Maybe because it was larger and never did seem crowded even though Hawaii was booked all weekend...

The always had food offerings out and never did seem to run out of things.

Hi - we went last fall and celebrated out anniversary there. It was truly wonderful. We had our 6 year old son with us and he loved it too. What other members have said is all true. The lounge is great and has beautiful views across the lake of the castle. Just think, what a wonderful way to start your day, breakfast overlooking Cinderella's castle!! The concierge building is in a great location, close to the pool, easy walk to the dock to take the boat to MK and if you are "walkers" take the concrete path over to the transportation center, we found that VERY handy at night when the parks were closing and there were mobs of people trying to get on the monorail to get back to the deluxe resorts in the MK section.

The staff was truly wonderul. Very friendly. We loved the entire experience and would do it again.

If you have any specific questions, let me know. Enjoy your trip!!
P.
