Is Pixar a Distant Hope for VMK's Future

So with all the negativity going on here, I just wanted to add a little sunshine out on the horizon and ask you all a few questions.

Reading a ton of the Pixar staff blogs I see nothing but hope for the Disney attractions, movies, and maybe (I said maybe) even management. The good people at Pixar (at least the ones blogging) can not wait to apply the Pixar corporate culture all over the Walt Disney Company.

Do you all think that they will be able to sink into VMK? And imagine what they could do with it...

Does anyone know if VMK is managed directly by Disney, or is it another company contracted by Disney(seems more in the new disney style)?

Last question, where do you all get your Disney news from? Is there any great sources you can list?(Blogs etc)

Pixar has the DISNEY magic and I would welcome them as a management team for VMK!

I beleive do not know for fact but will look in the shareholders news that VMK staff is paid by DISNEY.

Well, Pixar was a completely separate company.
But now Disney has bought them out.

I do like most of the influence the company has had on Disney, other than Disney deciding to go all 3-D. Personally, I don't think Mickey and gang look quite right in 3-D.

But if they get their hands on VMK, I say yes!
If they do, then it should help to make the Mac players happy. Especially since Steve Jobs (CEO of Pixar) will become a board member. He is also a CEO of Apple.

Where do you all get your daily dose of Disney News?

When I sit down in the morning after one goes to school and the other is watching Balamory (our new favorite) I check out the Disney Blog, Laughing place, Dis and a few others while gulping coffee.

My news reader is pretty empty on the Disney side, any hints would be appreciated.

VMK news is really sparse. Good news that is. Other than Dis, I really don't trust or like anything else about it.(not including the source vmk itself)

Excelent, I never heard of disneysites before, thanks I will check it out.

I haven't checked out Mickeynews in a bit. It went south a while back when Intercot got spoiled. I used to love Intercot and it's related sites.

used to get alot of great info from SaveDisney.com but I think since Einser is gone Roy Disney and Stan Gold have dropped their fight with Disney and pulled the plug on the website.
